Hi,

I am working on MEA absorption for CO2 separation using HYSYS Acid Gas package. The flow sheet consists absorption and regenerator unit / distillation column. I have convergence issue with my simulation due to the recycle unit. I have set my parameter sensitivities to 10 but still couldn't converge. Can anyone help me with this?

Your response is very appreciable.

Remove the recycle and change parameters until it converges. Then include the recycle.

Hi Sarah,

I guess you can use the HYSYS CO2 separation template under the acid gas package. It already comes with the MEA and water make up.
