Hi!

I'm going to simulate biomass (human manure) conversion  through hydrothermal liquefaction into bio-crude oil with Aspen Plus. But I am not sure what approach is more suitable when defining my biomass model in terms of the components type (for the reactor unit). I know that for the non-conventional solids model I just need to use the ultimate and proximate analysis of the component. Yet for conventional one I need to select a few model compounds that will represent my biomass composition. But what difference does my choice make to my simulation results? Which one seems to be more suitable?
