Hello Dear Engineers,

I'm working on the simulation of a unit for combustion of coke of a catalyst, It's a closed loop. I'm investigating two different scenarios. First, purging a portion of regeneration gas in order to avoid CO2 build up. Second, using a caustic scrubber to remove CO2. In first case, for example I introduce 6 kg/hr of coke to the reactor and the temperature changes from 450C to 485C, the temperature change that is supposed to happen. But in the second case, when I define new components as NaOH, water, Na2CO3 and use Elec wizard to define henry components, the temperature change in the combustion reaction would not be that much, just 5C. other conditions are as follows:

- I defined two different flow sheets that separate combustion reaction section from other equipment by "ClChng" block.

- The global property method is IDEAL but in the caustic wash tower I defined ELECNRTL.

I know that something is wrong with the new defined components but I don't know what it would be and how I can solve it. Could you show me the way to solve this problem, please?

Thanks in advance
