Could someone pl. explain what is the phenomena that causes the liquid, that flows through a valve causing the pressure drop, to partially evaporate (phase change).

Evaporation in liquid passed through a valve would be happened when downstream pressure is equal to or lower than the vapar pressure of the liquid at working temperature...
