Dear Honorable Member,

We have something wrong with our overhead compressor.

The compressor was inactive since 2012 and at 2016 begin to operate again.

The problem is so many rust at piston.

We have try to flush suction line but the rust still present and we found many liquid at suction snubber.

The suction snubber itself received gas flow from KO drum and instrumentation in KO drum still in good conditions.

The overhead flow:

Main COlumn CDU --> FIn-fans --> Overhead 3 phase separator --> gas to KO drum compressor--> suction snubber --> sentrifugal compressor.

My question is:

1. Does sulphur may cause rust even in a week operation of compressors?

2. Do you have any experience regarding sulphur maximum allowable concentration at overhead product of CDU?

3. What may cause oil entraintment at suction snubber?

Regards, DW
