I suggest you consider SR-POLAR, the Schwartzentruber-Renon equation of state for highly non-ideal systems. You may also appreciate the example simulation file teg.bkp which is typically available with your AspenPlus installation for you to use for learning or as a go-by.

How can I lunch a recoreded script (.scp) in background (hidden) in Aspen Hysys by a batch file?
