The water source to a station has changed and the new water quality analysis reports high TDS (total dissolved solids) ~5000 ppm and a specific conductance of 7400 units.  Can this water be corrosive to the existing plumbing C.S grade ASTM A53 ?

Appreciate direction/advise from corrosion subject matter experts

Thanks

Lakshmi Tata
