Hello,

We currently have a pipeline supplying Natural Sour Gas from one unit to another, the normal operating pressure at the battery limit of the upstream and downstream units (i.e near the scrapper launcher and scrapper receiver) are 67 barg and 62 barg respectively.

The low pressure alarm and low low pressure trip in each unit have been set to be equal (60 barg for PAL and 58 barg for PALL). This does not give the panel operator in the downstream unit sufficient time to prevent the trigger of the ESD system and hence prevent some flaring in the case of cutting in the sour gas feed from the upstream unit. Hence, we would like to review these setting (especially in the downstream units).

I would be glad if anyone can guide me on this.

Thank you.
