Hello, I woud like to ask for any useful support, case studies, on the simulation of AGRU units with ASPEN Plus ?! I already have some experience with HYSYS but the transition to Aspen Plus isn't that obvious ... thank u in advance

As long as you know the basics of Aspen Plus, you must not have enough difficulty making your own models.

You can find built-in Aspen Plus models along with their PDFs in your PC.

Find them here: C Drive > Program Files > Aspen Tech > Aspen Plus > GUI > App

There are many models with amines, also physical solvent models are available.

Hope it helps.

In case of solid substances to produce CO2, you shall make the simulation by Aspen plus. Hysys cannot support solid materials.

You should be familiar with working in Aspen environment very well since, CO2 capture is a complex reaction.
