The following data are given for a boiler:

Steam generated per kg of coal = 2.5 kg

Pr. of steam = 25 bar

Temp. of steam = 350 deg C

Moisture in coal = 1.2%

Temp. of water entering economizer = 30 deg C

Temp. of water entering  boiler = 150 deg C

Temp. of FG entering air pre-heater = 300 deg C

Temp. of FG leaving air pre-heater = 200 deg C

CV of dry coal = 336000 KJ/Kg

Mass analysis of dry coal is:

C=84%, H2-5%, O2-8%, Remaining-Air

Vol. analysis of dry FG is:

CO2-13%, O2-8%, N2-79%

Boiler Room Temp.= 20 deg C

Cp of dry FG = 1.1, Cp of Super-heated Steam = 2.1

How to calculate efficiency of air pre-heater?

Looks like a homework assignment. We don't do homework.
