Hi

i just have a theoritical question about the crude oil to be distillated

 

why crude oil classification is important to know like Paraffin, aromatic or nephthenic. what this information drive to?

To know what the refinery yields will be when processing it.

It is  necessary to know the crude oil nature to know what type of processing would be required for getting the desired products.
