Dear All,

I was given a task to identify  location to incorporate fired heater in already established process plant, i am looking for any standards governing fired heater layout.

with no ground space available i came up with a location which is at level #1 , beneath that already exists couple of exchangers with process fluid as C4's.

the fired heater measurements are as 7mt dia & 20mt tall. i want to understand what is the minimum location between fired heater and other process equipment and the minimum distance from fired heater to road etc...

Appreciate your support in this regard.

Thanks,

rajprocess,

You can refer to the book titled: "Process Plant Layout and Piping Design" by: Roger Hunt...
