Hello,

I've completed a design for a reactor vessel. I want to make a sketch of this vessel using some kind of software rather than by hand. Is there any free software I may use for this purpose? I want the design to be in 2D. I have asked around and done some research and the great majority of engineers recommend , CADsolidworks, CADD and CAD. However, I do not have access to these,

I would appreciate being pointed into the right direction. I am not looking for extremely "sophisticated" software , rather than a simplistic, technically satisfiable visual representation of my design.

Take a look at these

http://librecad.org/cms/home.html

It seems to have the capabilities of older AutoCad versions

https://www.draw.io/

This is an online JavasScrip app that has some of Visio's capabilities. It has a good library of process engineering symbols to draw basic PFDs and P&ID's
