Hi people;
I must calculate evaporation rate of a solvent from a gooseneck type vent on a tank to estimate an ATEX explosion zone. I have an equation for pool evaporation and opened tank but i can' t calculate evaporation rate of solvent in a tank from an orifice. Also i must consider wind speed.
Do you have any comments?

Hi,
Consider the resources attached to support your work. You may/should find pointers.
A good reference is "Chemical process safety fundamentals with applications " by D.A Crowl and J.F Louvar - Prentice hall.
Hope this helps.
