we Use ADIP 18% strength to remove H2S and COS from Propane and H2S and CO2 from Fuel Gas - used for molecular sieve dehydration. We have two altrenatives for fuel gas. One is completely sweet and other with 1% CO2 content.

when Fuel gas that contains <5ppm H2S and approx 1% CO2 is used, ADIP regeneration is effective.

when sweet fuel gas is used, ( without CO2) , adip regeneration is almost NIL

Lab Results when Sweet Fuel gas is used:

Rich ADIP: H2S: 480 PPMwt  CO2: 251 PPMwt.

Lean ADIP: H2S: 456 PPMwt  CO2:78 PPMwt.

Lab results when Fuel gas with 1% CO2 is used:

Rich Adip: H2S: 1205 PPMwt CO2: 2241 PPMwt

Lean Adip: H2S: 154 ppm wt  CO2: 730 ppm wt

Cause of Ineffective Adip regeneration to be reasoned.

Are you obtaining the desired spec? If that is the case, then a regeneration from 480 to 456 is what you need for the amount of H2S you are absorbing.
