Hello
I was wondering if there is any requirement for re-calibration of PSVs after they pop or the regular yearly inspections would be enough for that. Our plant is in Canada (couldn't find any regulations on it) and the PSV is supposed to prevent over-pressure in a column with set point of 1.8 bar which contains hydrocarbon vapors and some entrained solids. My question is can we continue to run if the PSV pops and we took care of the cause or the PSV has to be sent out for inspection after popping.
My other question is can we do the pop tests (to verify the set point) in house or we have to send them out to be done by VR certified specialists.
Thank you
