Hi All,

When we have a datasheet for a pump that shows head for 3 different impeller sizes but shows only one power curve; does this mean this power curve is applicable to any impeller size? or this is the power curve for the rated impeller?

many thanks in advanced for your clarification.

regards

Hi Jseleh7,

It could be for the rated or the largest impeller.  You had better telephone the pump supplier to be sure.  The pump motor "installed" power should be larger than the curve, by a margin that may depend on the International Design Standard applicable for the pump.

hi ,

Consider the resource attached , chapter 4. I'm in agreement with Dazzler's comments . Why not calling the vendor?

Hope this helps.
