Hi,

What is the right statement for Relieving Condition-

"The relieving conditions are the accumulated relieving pressure and the corresponding saturation temperature (boiling point) of the liquid at the relieving pressure."

OR..

"The relieving condition is the Relieving Pressure and Relieving Temperature".

Suggestion is highly appreciated.

Regards

shahidul

Hi,

The first one relates to a special case: saturated liquid...

The second one is general and applicable to all cases...

Hi Fallah,

According to your reply, the first one might be used for Fire Case since there is consideration of boiling liquid.

Could you do me a favor by providing any link or document for doing flash calculation (Latent Heat of Vaporization) for multi component mixture in a vessel that has to be protected by a Fire Case Relief Valve? Since it is not easy for multi component mixture as single component to have Latent Heat of Vaporization.

Many Thanks.

If your company does not have software, you should enlist the services of a professional to assist you.

Thanks Bobby for your concern.

My company will not do that until I fail. Then I should give a try.

Anyhow, I have managed a doc for doing Flash calculation.

It would be very grateful if anyone justify the validity of the process.

Many Thanks.
