Dear Group fellows,

I hope everybody will be fine and enjoying his/her best time. I have designed a closed water heating system (attached file containing this circuit). Actually we have to heat water up to 90C at 2.5 to 3 bar for heating chemical blenders. Please review attached circuit and give me your expert opinion either we need some extra vent for oxygen or not.

Looking for your favourable response

Regards,

As you mentioned the pressure 2.5 to 3 bar a (I assumed absolute), the expansion tank need to be pressurized with air/ nitrogen and it should not be vented type. Else the expansion tank need to have sufficient head such that it will provide the required pressure. In this case, you can go for vented type expansion tank.

Please attach your P&ID, pump specification, etc. for more comments. With this sketch we cannot help you much as needed.
