Hi,

So I need to design a column to separate a feed stream containing phosphorous acid, dimethyl phosphate, and small amounts of phosphoric acid. The problem is there is no vle data or thermodynamic data available for phosphorous acid or dimethyl phosphate. I've been told you use similar chemicals if needed but I'm unsure what this means.

Cheers.

Hello
i had the same issue while simulating a stream containing ammonium carbamate. i was told to find another chemical having similar properties like carbamate. I think that's what you need to do. try to find a chemical having Boiling points etc near to your respective compounds.
