I have been tasked with designing a reflux condenser for a batch reactor, the reaction take place in ~4500kg toluene and ~1000kg methanol at 60 Celcius and at atmospheric pressure for two hours.

The reactor has a nitrogen blanket which is continuously purged through the condenser but the flowrate of nitrogen is not specified.

How would I calculate the rate of evaporation of these solvents?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
