Dear Sir,

I am extremely sorry for my mistake. Actually i was unaware of the posting rules. Hence forth this will not happen.

Actually i do have access to the p&id's of the flushing details for a unit in a refinery. The flushing is being done by various oils. However i dont know the basis on which it is done and how we decide the series of various fittings (nrv, tracing line, isolation valve etc.) that are done.

Awaiting +ve reply from your side.
Thanks,
Nikunj.

Nikunj,
It is very difficult to reply to an inquiry such as your own. If you state that you have the P&ID's showing flushing details, and you know various types of flushing oil are used, then the only things missing are the procedures. Talk to the operators, maintenance people, etc. and/or locate and read the operating manuals to find out what the designers intended. Please then return to this forum with specific questions related to unresolved issues. We can offer suggestions for specific problems; in fact, that's what we do best.
Doug
