i've been tasked with the design of distillation column that seperates a 96% ethanol and water solution and obtains 99.99% ethanol. the problem i am facing is determining the number of stages for the column. Could someone please help in this regard....

The mixture is fed at 2000 l/hr. How would i determine the composition of the top product of this column and the amount of benzene entrainer to add to the system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
