What are the codes/ standards to be followed for design of atmospherically vented water storage tanks ? I presume API 650 is for oil storage

Ayan:

Refer to my response to your other query in this Forum regarding drains for a very large "water" tank.

You fail to give your readers ALL of the basic data and scope of work. You can't expect reasonably intelligent and coherent responses when you starve us of basic data.

Do your local leg work in seeking and finding what are YOUR local requirements and regulations regarding whatever type of water you are dealing with.

In addition to Art's comments, I believe that you are posting in the wrong forum. I suggest you look at http://www.awwa.org/
