A cylinder with a piston is initially held by a pin as shown in the figure. The cylinder contains CO2 at 200 kPa and 290K. The piston has a density of 8000 kg/m3 and the atmospheric pressure is 101 kPa. The pin is removed, allowing the piston to move. When the gas is at ambient temperature, is the piston against the stops? Explain your answer.

Well, I must say, this seems like a very fundamental problem of thermodynamics, and the answer can be found in textbooks. I think u should try to do it by yourself.
