Can any one tell me what are chemicals used for pH control and oxygen control for boiler feed water used in power boilers. Somebody told me they are Mono Ethanol Amine (MEA) & Hydrazine respectively. From another source I came to know that they are being replaced because of their toxic effects. Please enlighten me with the new chemical that are been used.
