Hi all,

I'm really struggling with this....please could someone help me to convert kW/K into kJ/C-h ???

I'm using a software package for HENS design but it asks for an MCp in kJ/C-h (I have no idea what this is).

I.e. 6 kW/K into ??? kJ/C-h

Thank you so much.

You don't need software for that...

Note that kW = kJ/s
and that 1/K = 1/deg C

So what you are dealing with is conversion of 6 kJ/(C x s) into ??? kJ/(C x h)

Good luck!

convert kW/K into kJ/C-h ???

kW/K * 3600 = kJ/(C*h)

M*Cp is a "heat capacity"
