Hi all,

I am currently looking at the working of a steam trap.

I realised that the smaller the orifice size, the higher is the discharge capacity of the steam trap.
Please aadvise me on why is it that the the smaller the orifice size, the higher the discharge capacity? i always thought that the larger the orifice size, shouldn't the discharge capacity be higher?

Thank you.
