Hi I'm currently trying to learn Hysys but every so often I have a minor question in my way and I would greatly appreciate any help or comments as it seems there aren't any recommended books.

Firstly when a stream's vapour phase fraction is set to zero does Hysys automatically set the bubble point temperature of the stream mixture? Also when it list properties like Viscosity what is the difference between (L) and (V)?- probably refers to the units but I'm not sure which is which.

thanks

First question - yes
Second - L & V refer to liquid and vapor phase of the stream. Even if there is no vapor present (bubble point) HYSYS will give you phase properties.

Just copy the feed stream(s) and attach it to the new/rigorous distillation tower. Also create new product streams, define the tower configuration, product specs, and start rolling.
