Esteban:

What's the real story here? If you bought the book(s) (there are a group of volumes), then you should have received the CD included in the selling price. However, if you didn't (or haven't) bought the volumes, then you don't have a right to the CD. That should be pretty straight forward and simple.

You state that you are "looking for the CD that go with the book". What will you do when you find it? Is what you really mean to say, "I want to obtain a FREE, down-loadable, pirated copy of Ernest Ludwig's CD related to his famous Chemical Engineering Opus "Applied Process Design For Chemical And Petrochemical Plants"? If that is really what you are asking for in this thread, I can quickly resolve your search: Don't expect any help or direction from our Forums on the subject of pirated or illegally-obtained engineering information.

As professional engineers we have to employ our God-given common sense. How can we trust, confide in, work with, or fraternize with any other individual(s) - engineers included - who don't respect or honor the profession's code of ethics? If we steal from other engineers, we will steal from anyone. And how is society to accept or tolerate this scenario of piracy? The answer is clear: It won't tolerate it, because to do so means self-destruction.

Do what is right. Buy Ernie Ludwig's volumes and get the paid-for CD.
