I compared the result of the Shell-MIT equation for crude oil to that obtained from a chart constructed by J. C. Parker in 1910, published by Lefax in 1941.
Given the slight inaccuracies when reading charts, the results were essentially identical. This gave me a good deal of pleasure. It inspires confidence in the calculations. |
