Hi,

Appreciate any advice on design of hygienic surge supressors? Process flow attached. Basically when the filling machine stops suddenly there is a pressure spike, which causes product to be discharged for rework. The pumps and relief valves cant lift quickly enough.

Ideally a simple inline tube/vessel inline to absorb the pressure spike and also be able to accumulate some product as the postive pumps take a few seconds to stop.

Cheers,

Hi,

Instead of using a simple on/off valve feeding your machine , you should consider a 3 ways valve which allows you to recycle the product to your tank .

my view.
