Dear Experts, i am an process engineer.
I was wondering if you might be able to give me some advice.
I usually do some process revamps/Improvements, involed in plant/unit optimization with process calculations using Aspen Plus/Hysys.
But in some cases, i have to do piping designs and export isometric drawings myself also, so i have a lot of troubles for those because i am a chemical engineer. To be a piping engineer i need a study route, and my questions are:
1. To do a unit design from process to PFD, PID to piping and isometric drawings, which steps do i need to follow? (Flow chart/ Procedure).
2. For each above step, which tools/softwares should i use?
3. Which books/Document/Standards shoud i read to get the knowledge (used in practical)? (both of process and mechanical)
4. How about your study route to became a design engineer? (Schedule for Self-training)
5. The standard forms for approval in each step.
6. The websites for studying?
Thank you so much for you helping.
Best regards.
