As per operating company's code, maximum allowable pressure drop per length is limited. (for example 3.5 bar/km)

 

Wouldn't it be a problem if the pressure required by the demanding process is satisfied?

 

If the material-related velocity limit(erosion, corrosion, noise) is not exceeded and the pressure of the demanding process is satisfied, is it okay to exceed the pressure drop standard?

Hi ,

If this is a client's requirement you need to follow it .It's the one who pays the bill .

Note : a standard is just a standard not a contract.
