I am trying to calculate the discharge pressure required for a pump.

The pump is filling water in a water tank. The water tank has no blanketing etc.

What is the destination pressure to be considered at water tank? is it vapor pressure of water at the operating temp. or is it simply atm pressure?

Hi,

It does not make sense to me; you need to install a vent to your tank and an overflow at minimum to prevent your tank to collapse during operation.

note: Will your tank tight enough? not that sure.
