Hi I really need some help
I am doing a distillation column calculation which separates benzene as the top distillate, and benzene is also the more volatile component (MVC)
I know the
operating temperature of the column is 195C
pressure is 9150mmHg
reflux ration is 0.23
Zi (feed composition of benzene) is 0.875
XD (top composition of benzene) is 0.99
XB (bottom composition of benzene) is 0.01
Please tell me how do I find the bubble point and dew point temperatures?
Many Thanks!

Yst:
This is a serious situation. You are doing a distillation design as a student and you don't know how to do a bubble point or a dew point calculation.
This is serious because you should have already been taught this basic, fundamental theory and calculations. We can't teach you Chemical Engineering in a website forum. You are supposed to have already received and practiced the theory and lessons through homework - before attempting to resolve a distillation column.
I have doubts about your qualification as a Chemical Engineering student because you haven't even mentioned the other component(s) in the benzene mixture you are attempting to separate through calculations. I don't think you are academically prepared to do this work, based on what you have written in this post. I hope I am wrong and that you can show us otherwise.
