Hi Folks,
I've been asked by my engineering manager to look into options for smart P&ID's. This is assuming you have a smart engineer to draw them, but jokes aside.
What programs are available that are suited for a process engineering construction firm that has a wide range of process technology. We field a lot of different inquiries, which means that we have to comply with many different client standards for drawing p&id's.
In essence I need a program that will be used by our sales team that will assist in cost break downs by generating item lists. If the program has additional functionality like line lists and can make a good cup of coffee, then great.
Look forward to your input.
Ben
