Hi,
i am working on developing an instrumentation model for a gasification plant. Time to time i come across problems whose solutions require experience of plant and a thorough knowledge of chemical aspects of gasification plant. Currently i am facing a problem with erosion monitoring of slurry mixer ,see if anyone can put some inputs to help me find the best instrument for erosion measurement.Apart from that if some one could suggest me very detailed and simple material to give a visual feeling of following parts of gasification plant :

1.Burner mechanism (methane) and its detailed working in gasification plant.
2.Gasifier cooldown system
3.Slurry mixer working mechanism and cooling media
4.Make up water and burner feed water (details on how they flow in the plant)
5.purge system in burners
6.packing pump in slurry grinder
