Hi there, I need some information regarding soda ash and caustic soda.

How can i replace the soda ash with Caustic soda?

what is the exact difference between caustic soda and soda ash in terms of  thier power/concentration?

How to convert Caustic soda to soda ash (equivalent)?

Can caustic soda be used in silk degumming if it is converted to soda ash equivalent?

if so, what is the procedure?

Will the cost of degumming with caustic soda be lesser than cost of degumming with soda ash?

Thanks in advance.
