Hi,

we started pigging operation in newly commissioned 36" gas pipeline with a polyurethane rubber pig, but it got lost at around 40 kms (110 km long ).Exact location not traceable as maybe transmitter got demaged.

Can anybody suggest what can be done..

can rescue pig will push it..

or what can be other possibilities??

What about fkushing the pipeline with water?.. yes a lot of water but sea water is free... or re-pig using a new one so pig is pushing pig... only some crazy idea

Do contact to reputed company with experience in pigging to solve the problem.

Why the safety (FMEA) measures are not taken to deal with this situation ?

All the best.

When the pig gets hungry, it will cry out for you. So, listen carefully.
