Hi,

I am doing cost analysis of a power plant for my thesis. My base cost year is 2013. I am trying to take it to 2017. I have CEPCI indices for 2013 and 2017, January. But I do not have the sub-indices. Can anyone please suggest what to do now? Should I look for sub-indices or simply apply the CEPCI index to adjust the cost.

Apologies for not including this in the earlier message, but do you happen to know the CEPCI Equipment value for June 2004?

 

I am performing a study estimate with cost curves and have now found that the data is from 2004, so I need to adjust for that time.

Sorry not on my computer !

Considering what you have on hands ( june 18 if I'm right)  , the CEPC 2004 ( data published a few months  ago, check this thread ) and the cost of the equipment in 2004 you should be able to get a reasonable estimate . No one will challenge you !
