Hi,

I'm trying to calculate the mass release rate of a leak within a system where blowdown is being initiated. The literature and research I have done so far only gives the vapour release rate from the blowdown orifice assuming it is from an isolated system (De Grote, Weiss Method)

Is there a way to calculate the leak rate from the leak orifice instead, whilst blowdown is occurring? I assume this would be lower than if blowdown was not initiated and an isolated system was depressurising solely through the leak orifice

Thank-you
