I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this.

Can anyone share with me a fully solved steam balance system? Any number of headers, turbines, users, boilers, exports, etc. Please note, I will need full details, turbine powers, user duties, pressure drops, efficiencies, desuperheats, header letdowns, etc. I will greatly appreciate it.

If you have HYSYS you can do all you wish. Or, build your own with EXCEL VBA and a steam property library. Probably other process simulators can do your task, too.

Hi Bobby and thank you for your reply.

I have a program I wrote myself, but I do not have anything to validate it against. I need a steam balance system solved with something else to validate my program.

Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed and do not have access to Hysys or any other simulator.

It is written in Visual Basic using Visual Studio 2010.

You can download it here if you are curious http://EngineerSoftw.../SuperSteam.zip

Yes, plenty of robust and user friendly windows

You're right.  My apologies.

Please try again http://EngineeringSo.../SuperSteam.zip

It is a really nice program.  Graphical interface is coming soon.  But at this point, I do not trust any of its results.  It is simply not validated.
