Hi, your inputs are greatly needed.
for H2 recovery using PSA, generally feed concentrations of h2 in excess of 50mol% or so is preferred. For hydrogen-lean feeds (conc = 15-20 mol% h2) having mostly methane and nitrogen, are there reliable commercially demonstrated systems for h2 recovery? I have heard of vacuum swing adsorption as well as membranes-based. Latter have some issues with respect to costs and scalability.
Please ponit me to some references where such lean stream h2 recovery separation systems have been commercially employed. The application is needed for a petrochemical process.
