- In a gas processing facility, we have troubles recovering hydrocarbons condensate in a coalescing filter destined to trap the condensate in the reversed boot (as shown in the picture). When we purge, we only find water ! no condensate recovery ... how can we proceed to fix this, we need to do it fast because we are governed by environment laws !

Well, you can do it fast or right. Probably not both. If you provide information for us to see, we might have some suggestions.

actually, we have a polymer injection unit in a vessel provided with two pumps for wading purposes before this coalescing filter . No polymers were injected and I estimated that it will take a long time before we can recover any condensate. I let it for about a month without opening the purge of the revesed boot! I did the purge yesterday, let it decant in a  bottle. I only recoved a very tiny layer of condensate (of about 3mm thickness).
