hi all,   how could I calculate H/C ratio for a gas mixture? my fuel is composed of methane ethane and propane

i cant calculate H/C ratio of my fuel

Basically, do an atom balance.  Similar to a mass balance, but on atoms.

please explain more for example i have 77% methane, 10 %éthane and 3% propane

Take a basis of 100 kgs total.  77 kgs methane, 10 kgs ethane, etc.  77 kgs of methane has how many kgs of C and how many kgs of H?  Do this for ethane and propane.  Then, add them all up.
