Dear Everyone,

 

We have got amine solvent which captures carbon dioxide from flue gas source. We wanted to estimate evaporation loss from amine storage tank. I read API 2000 but found that it was mainly for petroleum products & has been designed keeping in mind hexane as stored liquid. 

 

Could you help me to understand how to calculation losses from amine storage tank due to volatility. 

 

Operating temp: 30 - 40 C
