Hello,

Is there any regulations regarding the distance of rupture disc installation with PRV?

One information that I have found is "it should be closed coupled (1-2 feet)".  But I don't know where does it come from, ASME or API?

According to this rule distance between PRV and RD should be greater than 2 feet.

Any recommendation is highly appreciated.

Many Thanks.

Hi ,

Consider the document attached . Sufficient space is required to install a gauge to monitor leak or plugging .

Good luck
