Hi, I was wondering how do I simulate an azeotropic distillation process to separate water from EDC in the EDC purification process. EDC and water forms an azeotrope at 72oC  with water composition of 8.3 wt%. How would it be possible to use such information to simulate the azeotropic distillation process in HYSYS.

Also, are there any guideline that could be used to kickstart the simulation.

Thank you

The azeotrope compositions and conditions can be used to back calculate the exact liquid activity coefficients and thus, the liquid activity model coefficients.
