I am preparing a project on chloromethanes production plant.

Basic feeds are methanol and chlorine. (HCl generated as by product which is then used for hydrochlorination of methanol).

In first vapor phase reactor methanol reacts with HCl and produce methyl chloride.

In second reaction in a plug flow reactor methyl chloride reacts with chlorine to form di, tri and  tetra chloro methane.

I am interested about chlorination reactor (adiabatic PFR).

I want to have a good idea about design liquid chlorine evaporator, methyl chloride evaporator, vapor preheater, and plug flow reactor adiabatic .

I have already done mass balance and energy balance.

If anyone kindly help me in giving some reference or idea I will be much obliged.

Basic scheme is attached.

Please give me some good reference or similar project.
